The Chelsea Christmas Parade is this Saturday, December 16. Please note the following info:
*PARADE PRACTICE is tomorrow, Tuesday, December 12 at Chelsea High School from 3:30 to 4:30.
*PARADE CALL TIME is 9:15am at Chelsea Middle School. Please be aware traffic may be congested so be sure to allow extra time.
*UNIFORM is blue band hoodie, jeans or khakis, blue Santa hat and comfortable shoes. No gloves. Auxiliary will check with sponsors regarding their uniforms. Hoodies and Santa hats were distributed as part of Spirit Pack orders. They are also the same hoodie and blue Santa hat as we’ve used in the past.
*INSTRUMENTS are each player’s responsibility. We will only transport tubas and percussion. Leave any cases in vehicles so that we don’t leave behind items at the middle school.
*DROP-OFF and any parking at Chelsea Middle school needs to be from Highway 39 near the office and gym. Please DO NOT travel down Highway 337 to drop off.
*PARADE ENDS near Winn-Dixie (the road in front of Grandview Health and behind the new American Family Care), so plan ahead for pick up so you don’t have to walk all the way back to the middle school. Students are dismissed at the end of the parade route so parents who are picking up students need to plan to meet with their students at that location.
