***FULL CAMP ON THE SOCCER FIELD STARTS NEXT WEEK!***
We see it will be very hot next week. We will make adjustments to the schedule as needed and may spend some afternoons inside during the worst heat. We will take care of the students! The times published for each day will remain the same.
ALL STUDENTS – week of July 21-25 and July 28-29:
*We will rehearse with all students on the soccer field the week of July 21-25 and again on July 28-29.
*We will begin learning drill for the halftime show.
*Bring LOTS of water, gatorade or powerade, sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, etc.
*You MUST hydrate and take care of yourself!
*You must wear laced tennis or athletic shoes. No Crocs!

Band Camp lunches for July 21-24:
*The ordering window for lunches has ended.
*Please bring a lunch if the students aren’t eating the camp lunch.
Tents for band camp week:
*Students may use tents for shade during the week of July 21-25, and July 28–29.
*Tents can be set up on Sunday, July 20 on the soccer field starting at 2pm.
*This is not required and students often share tents.
*We are not responsible for the tents or items left out during that week.
*Tents must come down at the end of practice on July 29.
*Tents should be set up next to the fence on the perimeter of the field.
Rookie ceremony:
*Our new band members (rookies) will be assigned an older mentor who will help them throughout the season.
*The rookies and mentors will go through a fun ceremony at 11:45am on Friday, July 25.
*The Chelsea Fire Department will be on hand to spray the students down and help cool them off following the ceremony.

*July 22 and 24 – Kona Ice
*These are optional and they accept cash and card, Apple Pay, etc.
Band pictures:
*Band pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, in the afternoon.
*These will be taken on the Chelsea High campus.

Parent Preview show:
*Parent Preview of all of our hard work is scheduled for Thursday, July 31 at 7:00pm.
*Rehearsal will be from 4-6pm that day prior to the preview.
