We are excited to announce our Spring Trip for 2024 to Washington, DC! We applied and were accepted as a performing band in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
*Trip dates are April 10-14, 2024.
*All students in the Marching Hornet Pride are eligible to attend the trip!
*PLEASE PLEASE read the attachments carefully. Registration for trip participants must be completed online. Links are included in the attachment or can be accessed here: https://americantravelconsulting.groupcollect.com/go/chelseahsbanddc2024
*ONCE ON THE WEBSITE, you will click the Register button on the right side. That will get you started creating your account.
*AS YOU ARE CREATING YOUR ACCOUNT – Adults ONLY (18+) – Students may NOT create their own account or sign waivers. Once an adult creates an account, students can be added as a “traveler”.
*IN THE REGISTRATION section, you will fill out a lot of information, including address, dietary info, medical insurance, etc. Please fill out these sections fully and responsibly.
**NEW THIS YEAR** Trip payments will be made online through our travel company, American Travel Consulting. The deposit is due by October 1. The dates for further payments are listed on the website. https://americantravelconsulting.groupcollect.com/go/chelseahsbanddc2024 You can pay any amount at any time! At least $50 is due by October 1 as the opening deposit.
*NO PAYMENTS will be made to the school or sent to Mr Lawley as done in the past. All payments are handled online through the above website.
*ALL TRAVELING PARTICIPANTS must purchase cancel-for-any-reason insurance. This is a requirement by our school system central office. This insurance is in addition to the trip rate. This is the Enhanced Protection option available as part of registration.
*Again, registration and payments are completed online. You can pay any amount at any time, with at least $50 by October 1, and the remaining balance by March 1, 2024. We will send reminders and information along the way.
*This will be a great trip! We look forward to representing our school and community with lots of Hornet Pride!
