PICTURE DAY THIS WEDNESDAY:
*Band photos by Iron City Studios are this Wednesday.
*Report time is 1:30pm.
*Some auxiliary members will report at 1:00pm. Sponsors will communicate with those who are available.
*Students should be finished no later than 5:00pm.
PARENT PREVIEW THIS THURSDAY:
*Our first public performance is scheduled for Thursday at 7:00pm.
*This will be held in the CHHS stadium.
*All students will report at 4:00pm for practice.
*There will be a chance to change and eat before we perform.
*Any student wishing to eat before the performance should bring their own dinner.
*We will perform the halftime show at 7:00pm.
*This event is weather dependent.
FALL MEDIA GUIDE REMINDER:
*The Chelsea HS Cheer Boosters are producing a new Media Guide for each sports season.
*The Fall media guide will include the Fall sports plus marching band.
*There is an opportunity to purchase a student ad in the media guide. Instructions are included in an attached letter.
*This is optional. I am merely passing along the opportunity from the Cheer Boosters.
*Any questions can be directed to chelseacheerboosters@gmail.
*The deadline to place an ad order is July 31. The photos used in the ads will be from the individual photos taken by Iron City Studios on band picture day (July 30).
*Media Guide info was originally emailed out on July 14.
NO REHEARSAL AUGUST 1-8:
*There is no band rehearsal from August 1-8.
*Enjoy a little break so we can get school started!
COMMUNITY PEP RALLY – AUGUST 9:
*The band will participate in the Community Pep Rally on Saturday, August 9.
*Times are still being worked out, but it looks like 6-8pm is a good window.
*This will be held at the CHHS stadium and is free and open to the public.
*Please reserve the date. More info to follow.
BAND CONTEST DATES:
*We will attend two marching band contests this season.
*Contest 1 is October 4. Location to be determined.
*Contest 2 is October 18. We will attend the Pell City Marching Festival at Pell City High School.
